The 12-week Standard Bank accelerator program that was implemented by Classic Oriental Consultancy, came to an end as we held a certification ceremony at Woodstock Bandwidth Barn, in Cape Town. 50 business owners from Cape Town and the surrounding areas, were appreciated for the time, effort, and dedication they have shown toward the Accelerator Program.

The last part of the program included the pitching session, which was held prior to the certification ceremony on the 22nd of Aug 2023. The top 15 businesses were given an opportunity to present their business strategies to a panel of judges and justify their growth strategies and funding requirements. The top 10 businesses from the pitching session received prizes that were sponsored by Standard Bank South Africa.

The 12-week Standard Bank Accelerator Program entailed workshops that covered Personal Mastery, Sales and Marketing, Business Model Canvas, Business Strategy, Business Growth Strategy, Legal and Statutory Compliance, Financial Management, Basic Costing and Pricing, Tendering, Access to Markets and Funding, Business Ethics, Basic Digital Transformation and Business Systems.
